All our producers grow their fruit and vegetables according to strict production and quality standards, as set out by our strict specifications. Quality is an important aspect of this.

• Our outward quality is not only guaranteed by a thorough inspection at the time of supply, but also at follow-up inspections the morning before each sale (especially for strawberries).
• Internal quality controls are also carried out on two levels. Ongoing shelf life checks in our storage units give growers and employees valuable insights to ensure and improve product quality. We also conduct analyses on products supplied in accordance with a sectoral, risk-based monitoring program. This involves both chemical analyses to check for any crop protection agents and contaminants, and microbial analyses.

Such quality assurance product checks are always carried out for each grower, as well as for each crop supplied by that grower.
