Creating connections. Working with commitment and integrity. There is no better way to demonstrate our values than by inviting people to see them in action. On October 12, 2024, we opened our doors to more than 1,200 visitors.
All of them were connected to our organization in some way, whether as producers, employees, neighbors, royal warrant holders for strawberries or families and friends. They were given a special behind-the-scenes glimpse of our operations.
Looking to the future with confidence
This was no ordinary open day. It was a special occasion for all the people who have helped to make us who we are today.
The group was taken on a tour of the various departments at our site. Along the way, our employees were on hand to provide information. Especially for the Open House, our punnet/box assembly and central sorting departments were running at full speed.
Our Open House was a special occasion for everyone with a strong connection to Coöperatie Hoogstraten to get together.
In the showroom, everyone got to experience a demonstration of how clock auctions work. Truly a unique experience! Outside in the tent, historical images of Coöperatie Hoogstraten, from 1933 to the present day, provided some nostalgia as well as perspective.
Quite a few people were surprised by the cutting-edge technology, the efficiency of our processes and the impressive scale at which we operate. This is something we were able to discuss further during the reception.
